Take A Deep Breath, Darling.

Phone rings.
Hey, Margaret. About Messiah, I want to ask you a favour. Do you think you could learn the Rejoice Greatly air? Yeah, I'd really appreciate it. I think you can do it. No, Kelly can't do it. Yeah, she can't hold that a. That'd be great. Thanks.
Hang up.
shit.
You just had to ask me to do one of the hardest airs in the whole damn symphony. Guess who's going to blow it?
ME!

Yep, that's it. FUN.

  1. East Texas. Palmetto bugs? Bet they're exactly the same deal! GROSS! We've got palmettos, too, and they live in them, too. I can only imagine being trapped in your bathroom! Oh, my house is like 90 years old, and the attic's gappy and isn't insulated either, so I know exactly what you mean. Fun stuff, yup.

  2. Thank you for your comment on my blog's music. :)

Okay, this is what happened a few days ago in class-
Two girls in my class just sniggered at me when my english professor asked "Does anyone remember Peter, Paul, & Mary?" I said, "Yes! I have all their records!" Then my professor said, "You parents brought you up well!" So I guess it's not all that bad... But am I really that weird?

My mom used to play Simon and Garfunkel all the time, and other sorts of folksy music. Like Second Chapter of Acts, and of course Peter, Paul, and Mary, etc. She'd even sing their songs to me as a baby instead of lullabies! How's that for bringing me up right? I'm just completely saturated in that genre/time period. I love that music, and I can't get into much else afterward. Not "anything" else, just "much" else.

But thanks, made me smile. :)

  3. Oh, yeah, I have Peace Train! :)

Mmmm, now I've been happy lately, thinking about the good things to come, and I believe it could be something good has begun...

    So good song.
